Gymnastics Fundraising — Zero Fees

Competition fees. Leotards. Travel to regionals. Equipment. Gym fees. Training camps. It all adds up fast. PledgeAthon lets your gymnasts raise money by doing what they already do — flipping, tumbling, and performing. Zero platform fees.

Ways to fundraise with gymnastics

Forget selling wrapping paper and cookie dough. Your gymnasts didn't join the team to go door-to-door. They joined to flip. PledgeAthon turns practice into a fundraiser.

Flip-a-Thon

Donors pledge per skill or routine completed. A gymnast who nails 20 skills in a timed session with 15 donors at $1.50/skill raises $450. Scale that across a 25-athlete roster and you're looking at $5,000+ from one afternoon at the gym.

Dance-a-Thon

Gymnasts and dancers perform routines to music for pledged donations. Floor routines, beam choreography, and freestyle dance all count. It's high-energy, parents love it, and the kids are already practicing these routines anyway.

Move-a-Thon

Donors pledge per rep, minute, or activity completed. Handstands, cartwheels, push-ups, jumps — any movement counts. Great for mixed-age groups where younger gymnasts can participate alongside competitive athletes.

Online Donation Campaign

No event required. Each gymnast gets a personal donation page with a shareable link and QR code. They text it to family, post it on social media, and collect flat donations. Perfect for covering competition fees, travel, or new equipment year-round.

Showcase Fundraiser

Host an exhibition night where gymnasts perform routines for an audience of sponsors and family. Donors pledge per routine or give flat donations during the event. Think of it as a recital that actually raises real money — not just applause.

Gymnastics is expensive. Fundraising shouldn't be.

Between monthly tuition, competition entry fees, travel, leotards, and equipment, gymnastics families already spend thousands per year. The last thing they need is a fundraiser that takes a 15% cut.

With PledgeAthon, 100% of every donation goes to your program. No vendor cuts. No inventory to manage. No kids selling overpriced popcorn tins. Set up a flip-a-thon on Tuesday, have gymnasts sharing links by Wednesday, and deposit the first donations by Thursday.

Gymnastics programs raise $3,000-$10,000 per season with PledgeAthon.

Built for gymnastics fundraising

Every feature your program needs to raise more money with less work.

Personal Donation Pages

Every gymnast gets their own fundraising page with a unique link. They share it with family, teammates' parents, and coaches from other gyms. Personal pages raise 3x more than generic team links.

QR Codes for Events

Print QR codes for showcases, competitions, and gym bulletin boards. Parents scan, donate, and done. No cash box, no envelopes, no chasing people down after practice.

Per-Activity Tracking

Log skills, flips, routines, or any unit that fits your event. Per-activity donations calculate automatically — enter the results and PledgeAthon handles the math.

Zero Platform Fees + TipShare

Every dollar goes to your program. We share 10% of optional donor tips back with you through TipShare. The only cost is standard Stripe processing (2.9% + $0.30). Cash and check donations have zero fees.

Live Leaderboards

Gymnasts compete to be the top fundraiser. Post the leaderboard in the gym lobby and watch participation spike. Competition is already in their DNA — use it.

Real-Time Dashboard

Track every donation as it comes in. See who's raised the most, who still needs to share their link, and your total — all in one place. No spreadsheets required.

How it works

1

Create your fundraiser

Name it, pick your event type (flip-a-thon, showcase, flat donations, or a mix). Takes about 60 seconds.

Upload a CSV or add gymnasts one by one. Each athlete gets their own donation page with a shareable link and QR code.

3

Gymnasts share their links

Athletes text their link to family, post it on social media, hand out QR codes at meets and showcases. The more they share, the more they raise.

4

Frequently asked questions

What types of gymnastics programs work with PledgeAthon?

All of them. Competitive teams, recreational classes, cheer gymnastics, tumbling squads, and all-star programs. If your athletes can perform skills and you need to raise money, PledgeAthon works.

How much can a gymnastics program realistically raise?

Most gymnastics programs raise $3,000-$10,000 per season depending on roster size and how actively athletes share their links. A 30-gymnast club where each kid gets 12 donors at $1.50/skill and completes 18 skills in a flip-a-thon raises over $9,700. The key is getting athletes to share — leaderboards help with that.

What are the fees?

Zero platform fees. The only cost is standard Stripe processing: 2.9% + $0.30 per card transaction. On a $25 donation, that's $1.03 — your program keeps $23.97. Cash and check donations have no fees at all.

Can we use this to cover competition fees and travel?

Absolutely. You don't have to run a per-activity event. Set up a flat donation campaign for competition fees, travel to regionals, new leotards, equipment, or gym facility costs. Same zero-fee platform, same shareable links and leaderboards.

How do payouts work?

Connect your bank account through Stripe (one-time, takes 2 minutes). After that, donations deposit within 1 business day. No waiting until the campaign ends — money flows as it comes in.

Can younger gymnasts participate too?

Yes. Parents manage the donation page for younger athletes. The gymnast's name appears on the page, but the parent controls sharing and receives notifications. There's no age minimum — if they can do a cartwheel, they can fundraise.
